Cheesy Pictures - Comin' Atcha!

About an hour from here is the greatest little "family" amusement park. We love going there since it is shady and more relaxed than the HUGE park that most go to. It has LOTS to do for little, little kids, but Alli still loves it just to "hang out." As you can see, we are really trying to steal as much "hang out" time as we can get. Granted, she has been looking at us at times and saying, "Mom, can I just go to the movies withe my friends?" and the best yet, "Dad, can I eat supper at *boyfriend's* house?" That one KILLS him. Nice boy, but Jeff is SO not ready. She is growing up, but still indulges her strange mom and dad for a day out! THANK THE LORD! I keep thinking - this is the last trip to this amusement park as a family of 3 - next year, I will have KID - S - PLURAL. It is hard to imagine that after 12 years, we will have another little one in this house. It was fun, and amusing, stalking any family with a "cool stroller" and checking out every little boy or girl who may have "looked" Guatemalan. We must have seemed like weirdos, but it is just one of those things that we are doing now... everywhere we go we say, next year Mario will do this with us - WOW! Anyway, I hope that you enjoy our little day out.

Jeff and Alli - I took a little longer at the car to capture this moment... still holding daddy's hand.. boy he eats that up!
The first ride HAS to be the ferris wheel!

The Whip - not too bad mom.... OOOOO My, a little scary, even for a grown up girl!

Al and Jeff with the water park behind them - it was a bit chilly for that.

I want a tattoo - 4 words that we do NOT want to hear!
Dad said this is the ONLY kind of tattoo she is allowed to get until she is 40!

My mom used to have these little "Love Is" cartoons cut out and taped to the inside of the bathroom closet...I am sure she thinks that I forgot about those.... this reminded me of them... "Love is" a picture of your husband holding his little girl, even when she thinks she is too old to be held.

Alli loves ice cream.

Beautiful....
Even more beautiful.....

Sneaking one last look....

I love signs... I read everything... must be the English teacher still in me... this one cracked me up... I get motion sickness walking... I just loved the little people... The Wild Mouse.. NOT THE RIDE FOR ME!

My Favorite photo of the day... click on this to enlarge to see Alli's face! Getting her on a roller coaster was a feat... how hilarious... she got off and said - "Let's go again, dad, I think that I threw out my shoulder!" Oh, to be young again!

Their hilarious faces after the Wild Mouse - I asked them to ham it up for the camera! The Log Jammer Ride - it was one hill, but A LOT of fun... other than the train, the ONLY ride I would ride...

Me and my guy... anxiously waiting for my other guy!!!!!
We can't wait to post photos of Alli and Mo next year!!!!!!!!

Jill - my heart just loved seeing the beautiful photos of Ali and her Dad... You did a wonderful job of capturing their love.... the quiet moments that last for a lifetime....

Glad to hear that you're in PGN... praying that it won't be long for you to get the call to fly and pick-up your lil guy...

My prayers continue that soon you won't be day-dreaming about having Mario with you.... Praying that it becomes a reality in the near future...

Again - thank you for sharing your beautiful family...

Could Ali be any prettier? She is a DEAR !!!

Jill you are so funny! I was the exact same way when we were at the amusement park last weekend (only checking out umbrella strollers b/c we likely use one in the airports on the 20 hour trip home and always looking for the Kaz kids!)
