Countdown...things I know for sure:

2 Weeks DOWN in PGN... ????? to go as we all are aware... don't you just wish you could answer the question, "what is the date that your child comes home?" instead of having to explain it is "an unpredictable process, so this is our best guess." I hate that! lol! I wish I knew... I do know a few things:

1. I know I have the best husband who loves Alli and I and provides for our family.
2. I know I have a wonderful child who tells me she loves me every day (at almost 13, that is difficult to come by) is dedicated to her activities and family and is compassionate.
3. I know I have a mom and dad and fabulous in-laws (plus all of our other family members near and far) who support us and our adoption in every way.
4. I know I have a roof over my head, food to eat, and love to give and receive.
5. I know I have a son in Guatemala who we love already.
6. I know I am a stronger person than I thought and am reminded of that everyday when I wake up, see my family, look at my son's picture and still manage to not spend the day in the fetal position in bed :-)!
7. I know that I am busier than I thought I would ever be, but happier than I thought I could ever imagine
8. I know that I need to 'get something going' for supper, so my husband does not have to eat at the restaurant near our house again this week! :-)

When you all comment - tell me something you know for sure about your life!

Way cool! I know I have a mother who loves me, supports me, and will do anything she can to help get my baby home.

Great idea!

I know that I can survive a lot!
I know I have a great support system.
I know God has blessed me beyond measure!
I know I can't wait to get my hands on my precious baby girl!

Have a great weekend and thanks for getting me on a positive path-- one of realizing that I am not defined by this adoption!

I know the same things about my daughter that you know about yours. And she is 18.

I know that, though some people would think I don't have much, I have been blessed way beyond what I deserve.

And I know that I am priveledged to know your mama (even if it is only in cyberspace) and to be part of the group that is praying for this.

And last, I know that God does answer prayers. Even when we wonder WHAT is taking Him so long!
