Good News: The Visa 39 cable has arrived. It is the longest complicated story, but to sum it up, the guy at the National Visa Center who said it was "good to go" had never sent it. Yikes! So, other than spending the entire Thanksgiving break on the phone with our congressman's office, the National Visa Center, our agency and the embassy in Guatemala - all is moving forward. I have to say that Congressman Altmire's office has the GREATEST guy working there who has worked OVERTIME to help us, when NEITHER of our senators even called us back. We are grateful for this man for helping us so much. He went above and beyond his job.
Thanks for all of your support. We will keep you posted!

He is sooooooooooooo adorable. He looks like "at the doctor's again, yea." LOL Can't wait for him to get home. Hopefully things will keep moving along smoothly and before you know it, you'll have him in your arms. It's nice to know that some of our elected officials and their staff DO really work for the people.
That picture just melts my heart!! And my heart is all warm and fuzzy knowing that that little boy will be home with his family soon!
there are just all kind of angels in this world and it seems you are surrounded by many.........any day now!!!
Hi,
How sweet! If things move smoothly, he can have his 1st Christmas at home. We are thrilled for you. At least you can count on the staff of elected officials. We are hoping all goes well for you.
Love,
Aunt Diane
What an adorable (and VERY lucky( little boy....you have been truly blessed...
What a sweet, sweet little boy! I'm glad the visa issue is all working out. He'll be here soon!
There are signs everywhere telling us Mario is coming soon. Our case manager is Mario, the star basketball player in our district is "MO" and we live in MO too. How ironic, this uncommon name, is all around now!! And he is just precious.
He's not smiling. Do you think he's getting as frustrated with the wait as you are?
I wish I was there to give you a big hug right now.
Soon, little mama, soon.
