Mr. Allergy & Go FAS!

Well, it has been an interesting one here around our parts...

Dad is doing well, for the family are here for the Jack, Sr. update. First, let me say, he is loved here in this area... I went to our grocery store (where my dad is the pharmacist) and EVERYONE was stopping me asking how dad is... what a guy!

He walked a bit more today and is making progress in the hip department. If only we could get the other stuff straightened out. He was taken off of the other anti-biotic that he was on, and started on something different (Kephlex - sp?).

He broke out in a rash all over his arms.

seriously.

The poor guy can't catch a break in the swelly-itchy-rash department. I so feel for him... I am scratching right now thinking about it. So, more Benadryl. It makes him seem like he would fit in at some of the old sorority/fraternity college mixers I used to attend...slurred speech, sleepy stupor... he is not amused.

Other than that, he is progressing. They are trying to get his sugar regulated since he is a diabetic. He feels that once he gets home, he will be able to get a better handle on it.

My mom hates to leave his side and spends most of the day there. They are just hilarious after 41 years.

I will post again tomorrow for the family - hope it is helping to keep informed... again, you can leave him comments under here if you would like... no need to buy anything! :-)
