EDITED: It was the season...

EDITED TO ADD: It ended with a HUGE loss, but a triumph for Alli personally. The team lost to the best team in the league 16-0... brutal... BUUUUUT, Alli hit a grounder downt he third baseline off of the BEST pitcher in the league! Woo hoo, Al! I am very proud of the little team that could... Congrats FAS for making it to the Semi-Finals! What a Huge accomplishment! Thanks also to the selfless coaches who helped and guided our girls: Larry, Mark, Hubby Jeff and Sue!

that would never end.... remember that Sherry (sp?) and Lambchop show with the song that never ends? Well, we have the softball season that will not end!

Last night, they were making up the game that rained out last week.... Alli got the whole way there to realize that she forgot her spikes! LORD! So, a wonderful mom (with particularly small feet - thank goodness) loaned her tennis shoes and coached while wearing Adidas slip on sandles!

The rules are that you have to get either 5 innings completed or one hour and 20 minutes... at the one hour mark - and inning 3 - we were ahead 8-4...

and MORE RAIN CAME... postponing the final 20 minutes!

So, off Jeff went tonight to take Alli and teammate Back 45 minutes away to play the final 20 minutes!

AND THEY WON!!!!!!!!!!

So, they are currently playing in the semi-finals for the Greater Pittsburgh Area (they have already won their section, so this is for the big money! hee hee!

If they win this one, they will play in the final tomorrow....
