Celebration!

Today is typically not a day of celebration but a day of reflection. Obviously, it is a day where we all think of "where we were on 9-11." We think about the troops who are serving and fighting in a war somewhere far away. Although, sometimes it is easy to go through life thinking about our little problems...today and everyday, I am thankful to live in the United States. I am blessed with a beautiful family. I am sure you all feel similarly.

This is why the news that my friends GOT today is WONDERFUL and JOYOUS and a definite reason to celebrate. Today of all days, it is fantastic to find out that this news will facilitate more and more children the ability to eat and get much needed medication. I am proud of these woman who started this organization, but more so, I am proud to live here and be safe, warm and fed tonight.... that my children know they are loved and cared for. I am inspired that these woman are leading some of us to get involved in helping the orphans of Guatemala.

PLEASE visit their website and consider ways to help... maybe you are interested in going on a mission trip, maybe you can get a case of toothbrushes to send to them, maybe you can put them on your prayer list at your church...even a kind comment on their blog is helpful.

Be Inspired... it is time to make a change.
