Dad - Update #1

Hi, All. Thanks to the family for checking the blog for updates on Dad/Jack/Uncle Jack. I will be posting them throughout the weekend to let you know how he is.

Bloggie friends: thanks for bearing with me for the brief break/change in topic. If you would, pray for his speedy recovery/ send him "good vibes!" Thanks! Oh, and to all who are on their way or already AT Guatoberfest, please take LOTS of pictures and miss me. I REALLY am so sad I cannot be there with you all! Have fun and ENJOY!

Dad was supposed to go into surgery at 9:45am, but of course, he did not actually "go in" until 11:30ish. He got out at about 1:30. The doctor came to talk with my mom to tell her that he did well and would be in recovery for a while. Soooo, so far, so good. Exhaling.

I will post another as soon as I get home from the hospital, so keep checking back and scrolling to make sure you did not miss something. Please call the others who do not have computer access. I will call Grandma in a few minutes and will continue to update her and Grandma Gesko.
