Today was a full day for all of us. My Aunt Sandy and Grandma were able to visit with Jack (my brother), Vicki and kids and had brunch. Grandma was also able to see dad at the hospital for a bit. Jack visited with him, too, and of course mom was bedside throughout the day with Aunt Sandy. He is surrounded by people who care about him through each day which is wonderful! My kids also enjoyed seeing their Aunt Sandy and "Gummie" each day... photos will follow once dad is out of the hospital!
Dad is making progress with some minor set backs. His blood pressure was concerning yesterday while doing PT becoming low and making him light-headed, but that subsided and has not returned. His temperature has been normal today - Yay! He was MUCH stronger today walking, but the pain is still fairly severe compared to the last surgery. I am sure that is frustrating since he HAS something to compare it to, but I am sure he will get stronger each day.
Aunt Sandy and Grandma will be leaving to drive back to DC/Maryland area tomorrow. We will miss them very much and appreciate all of the love and support they have provided!
I will post more tomorrow about how he is progressing to keep the family informed.

G-fest attendees - I hope that you all have/had safe trips home and cherish each memory. Sorry we missed you... there is always next year! Now, get to posting those pics for me to see! Trisha had some up and I wanted to squeeze each of those kiddos! They are all so precious!

Glad your dad is doing ok. It is nice to have family around when you need them, isn't it? You are so good about blogging, not like Steph!!!!
