Christmas with the Leskos

Our final Christmas celebration was with Jeff's parents. It is SO nice to have the celebrations spread out... it makes them more special, and the kids really appreciate seeing everyone more in small spurts. This year was really wonderful. We all got to spend special time with everyone and enjoyed ourselves a lot. It seriously was one of the best Christmas Holidays I have remembered in a long time.

Having Jeff's parents here is really nice. They are overly generous with their time in the Spring and early summer - especially this year with all of the hours they spent helping us get our driveway finished and the yard done, it is just nice to slow down and visit with them. Of course, they spoil our kids even more, and we love it!

Have I ever mentioned how spoiled I am as a daughter-in-law? Not only are Jeff's parents incredibly helpful with all things yard-related, his mother is the BEST baker. She bakes AMAZING cookies - and the best part, she brings container after container down here for us. I never bake a cookie at Christmas. My theory is that if it doesn't come in a tube, then you certainly don't want ME baking it. I know we are supposed to share the cookies that she bakes, but this year, we ate them... all....not good for our figures but that is what New Year resolutions are for, right? :-)

Mario was very excited to see his "GaGa Lesko and PaPa Lesko" (he was very excited to see more gifts, too!)

Alli is ALWAYS thrilled to get gifts from them... perfect! (if you click on the picture, you may be able to see her nails that are cheetah airbrushed - very cool... she has since had the acrylics removed since softball batting clinics have started!)

Jeff's dad opening his "go phone" (and Mario in the back sneaking a sippy of my water!)
Jeff's mom collects the Lennox that has the Christmas cardinals on it... I did not notice if she had the chip dish... she didn't! YAY!
Our darling shih tzu, Murry. He gets many Christmas gifts, too!
Mario's favorite gift from them was the Dirt Devil sweeper... he plays with that all day...all I hear is "hmmmmmmmm"...lol! It picks up a little, too! Cool!
Jeff got his Erie hometown team shirts... The Bayhawks and more!

hmmmmmmmmm
more Erie stuff
hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
We made a special photo book for The Leskos... I loved making it. I looked at that thing about 100 times before wrapping it. Such GREAT memories from 2008.
It was an unseasonable warm day after Christmas, so we took advantage of running around outside a bit.... and The Leskos had to check their plantings! :-)

Alli out walking the Murrinator

Grandpa and Mo walking on the turn around and waving to the neighbors
picking up sticks...

This is by far my favorite...walking up the driveway, Mo in mid-step... so cute!
Run, PaPa, RUN!
I hope you had as relaxing and wonderful of a holiday as we did in 2008. I will post pictures later tonight of the MASSIVE snowfall we had today. In the meantime, we are going to try to dig our way out! Have a GREAT weekend!

I love the picture of Mo sweeping, it looks like he's telling Alli to keep her feet up! Too cute and that is exciting that it picks up too. Can you send him my way, I hate vacuuming!

Where did you get the memory photo book made? That is such a great idea!
