To be honest...if cruise ships didn't freak me out so much, I would be on one RIGHT NOW. I spoke with Jeff's parents who told us that this season their area (2 hours north of us) has had about 125 inches of snow total this winter...We FEEL like we have had that much. We have had 2 cancellations and many delays. It is slowly chipping away at our Easter break and my sanity! I feel like all I am doing is complaining about the snow, but it really has been a LONG winter, and we are only about half way through. I have cabin fever... we really don't leave the house all week. We are supposed to get a slight reprieve this weekend, then lots more on Monday.
The kids are great! Alli's report card was so good... we are proud of her! She completed a batting clinic for softball and learned a lot. She is looking forward to the start of softball season (which means it will be SPRING!)! She made it for the play... not sure which part, she will find out on Tuesday. She loved the play so much last year, so I am happy she made it again (I think that she would have been heart broken if she hadn't).
Mario is a wild man... and funny. He likes to make the dog howl, so he screams at him until he does, then laughs. It is entertaining for the first 10 minutes. :-) He is picking up more words. Allison likes to teach him funny ones...like booger and bum. We are appreciative of the interaction but not so much the word choice. He is such a joy and makes us laugh every day.
Once I get out to get my camera, and things get a bit back to normal, I will post more pictures. I don't have much going on here other than, shovel, snow blow, stay inside, cook laundry, shovel, snow blow, etc.

I know what you mean. Here in MN we have been hit hard by snow this year...more than usual! I feel like I complain alot too but am looking forward to getting away from it for a while this winter.
awww I feel so bad for you. We had one snow day this week and It was good for me. then I was like okay back to school we go...
Jack likes to teach Brody "words" too. He loves to say Poop and booger. Too funny! Hope the suncomes out and melts some snow for ya!
you have such a great family Jilli. I just love you. Thank you for the card:) You are so thoughtful.
the pic of jeff snow blowing still makes me waff!
I hear you with the snow! I am clicking my heels together and say the's no place like Florida, there's no place like Florida, there's no place like Florida. I do think the snow IS beautiful but after the 4 snow day I'm OVER it's beauty!!:) I love the language skills Alli is teaching Mo....Ethan is doing the same to Mia. Only his language skills turn into verbs when he teaches her what to do with boogers and how to eat them:) Praying that 80 degree days are around the corner (hey I'd even take up the street and around the bend!)
I.Hate.Snow.
On another note, McKenna also got a part in the play. She is very excited. Tell Alli to keep McKenna in line for me!
