In trying to keep with the theme at SARAH'S BLOG for this week's Favorite Foto Friday, "Fake Out," you would think that I would find some cute fake smiles from Mario.... Nope! The fake smiles I found were of my daughter, Alli....if you have a teenage girl in the house, you too may be aware of the phenomenon that is the "hold the camera out and pose" or the "let's got to the mall and take silly pictures of one another." I raided Alli's pics in her computer file (I know, bad Mama) to share some of the funniest, silliest and cutest Teenage Fake Outs!
The Living Room Couch shot

The Bathroom Mirror shot.

The Bathroom Mirror complete with hand gestures (I am grateful it is a peace sign - lol)

The Silly Hat Store shot

The Shoulder Pad shot (I think that I have a serious shot of me in some shoulder pads long ago...)

The Kanye Glasses with Silly T-shirt that Mom Would never let her buy shot

And of course, my favorite, the silly face that she makes in the majority of the pics. I found many many of her friends making the same face... not sure why, but they all do it! :-)
Thank goodness Alli is a good sport and won't mind that I put these pics up (right, Al, Mama LOOOOOOVES you!).

I LOVE these pics. But I disagree -- its not just a teenage thing, LOL. I have perfected holding the camera out and taking pictures. Most of my pictures are self portraits. And sometimes you just have to run around random stores and take goofy pictures -- you should totally do it, its fun!!
You are right! Teenagers have the best fake smiles! I should have grabbed a few dozen of Morgan's to post, but she hates it when I put her on the blog!!
We have the same here too. I have a thousand pics on my computer of Lex doing her self portrait in the mirror etc. Its almost embaressing. We also have the mall pics too! how funny great post!
