The kids are great. Alli is enjoying the play so far...it is practice after school every day of the week, plus intermurals volleyball (she is not playing team volleyball - thank the Lord - it just wasn't her thing) 2 night per week...she also has applied for some volunteer work at the local hospital. As soon as the weather breaks, she will be starting regular 15u softball. There are a few clinics that she will attend, but spring needs to.. well, SPRING so they are able to get outside. In the meantime, so practices her swinging in the basement. She is focused on school so far, but has declared that she is ready for the high school. I will be happy to have both Jeff and Alli in the same building. Not much more you can ask for as a mom, having a strict father AT school with your daughter everyday! :-) Maybe she won't be so thrilled with high school after all! :-)
Here is an updated picture of Alli. She is slowly getting parts of her braces off... another appointment this week. I thought that they all just came off at once, but in this case, no. She hardly complained about having them the entire time. I am so used to them that I am insanely curious to see what they look like under there!
Mario is a nut. He is everywhere. He is funny and sweet most of the time, but man, when he doesn't want to do something, he lets you know it. He went to the grocery store with Jeff and I on Sunday and was over it half way through (even with the free cheese at the deli)... by the time we got to the check out, he was irritated. The bag boy started putting in the bags behind him in the cart... and Mo smacked his arm. I was so embarrassed. The child is nutty sometimes! :-0 His vocabulary is expanding, so we are happy about that. I do think that we are getting a crib tent... anyone have one to recommend? or other suggestions? He hasn't climbed out yet, but he is on the second floor... and I really think that it is a matter of days before he gets that leg over. Here are some pics of bathtime last night. He loves to be in water... makes me look even more forward to summer....
Other than that, there is not a ton new. I have finally selected a color to paint the powder room... now to just find time to do it. I will take some before and afters although it is not that exciting. I am sewing some pillows for Allison's room....if I can remember how to sew! Projects everywhere and limited time to do them. story of a mom's life, huh?
Well, take care all. I will try to be better about posting now that the camera is working. Check in and let me know that you are still with me when you have time! :-) Thanks for hanging in there,
