The Leap...

The term, "The check is in the mail," certainly applies here this week! Our application and initial fee went out to our agency this week! WE ARE SO EXCITED!!!!! We will anxiously await our packet of "things to do!" We have our letters of reference - thanks again, friends and family - so far. There is so much more to do with a lot of uncertainty about the program itself. The owner of our agency is currently IN Guatemala at a conference. We are hopeful and optimistic that the program will stay open. It will be so sad for all of the kids who need homes to have a program altered or interrupted due to the strange problems with the governments. Please keep praying for the adoptive children in Guatemala and the children not yet born to mothers who are unable to care for them. Pray that both governments will work in the best interest of the children of Guatemala. We will try to keep you updated on the very little we know at this point. One more step on becoming a Guat-Mama!
