Speedy Delivery!

I know that friends have been asking, "what is going on with the adoption? You haven't blogged in a while." Well, that is the way adoption is I think... hurry up, then wait. I decided not to blog until something happened with our loan. Well, we closed on Monday. After signing our life away, I still was not convinced we were getting the money... the "I'll believe it when I see it" approach to everything. Early this morning the Fed Ex guy hiked it up our icy driveway and delivered our check. I rarely see checks this large, so it is pretty exciting... not so exciting that it will take 15 years to pay off! It really doesn't matter as long as it brings us to our son! I so have to get used to saying that! I will blog as things get moving now... we will send our application this week! Woo Hoo! I will hopefully have something more to say then!
