Favorable Opinion

I always knew that I was lucky when I had Alli. Call it luck, call it blessing, either way, I feel lucky to have her in my life. I never knew how lucky her birthday was though! Today, after a great trip to the mall with Jeff, Alli and my parents, we got an email from the agency. I did not expect more news!

WE ARE OUT OF FAMILY COURT!!!!!!!!!!

Our social worker did the birth mother interview 4/26 and was to take many weeks to complete the report. It is done. We have been given the social worker's favorable opinion to adopt Mario! Woo Hoo!

It was so entertaining, and impressive, that my husband could translate most of the document. Who knew he had such talents? I could translate senora and our names! Ooo, I bet you are equally impressed! :-)

Now we wait for the DNA to be done on May 21. Hopefully, our pre-approval will go more quickly than most who are taking 8-10 weeks to get their PA. Once the PA is received, we enter PGN.

I am so pleased that someone has a favorable opinion of us! :-) Have a great weekend, bloggers and friends. Thanks for following our story.

Oh My Goodness Jill..... my heart is skipping it's beating so hard !!!

Praise the Lord for the blessings you are receiving..... I'm so thrilled for you.....

Our daughter's neighbor (in Newnan, Ga) is in PA status right now - waiting to their baby girl... (from Guatamala). In fact, Laura (our daughter) was just explaining the steps to me earlier this evening).

She directed me to www.adoption.com where so many go to talk about their adopting progress.... I'm sure you've already been there....

Anyway, I'm rambling... Throwing my arms around you all - How wonderful !!!

How did I miss this?! This is wonderful news! I don't know what all the letters mean, but it they mean that he's coming home sooner, then I don't need to know anything else!
