This sure has been a blessed New Year. We brought in the New Year like always, very low key... we are not big party animals, so a movie and family was my idea of a great celebration.

Apparently everyone's idea of a New Year's Day celebration was to go to WalMart! I had to be there with the entire tri-state area who ALL had returns, too! It was the first time I took Mario out all by myself. I have mastered the stroller and car seat, but had not idea how much snow we were to get, so it was a bit scary on the way home. I was slip slidin' up our driveway with the 4wd on! This is AFTER a deer ran in front of my car. Sheesh! We made it home safely, although a little nauseated!

The family is on the mend. Jeff is getting over the fever, sore throat stuffy head thing. I am better. The baby still has a runny nose, but I am not sure if that is from the teeth all coming in at once or the cold. Hopefully, tomorrow the roads will be passable, so we will be able to get to the dermatologist! Until then.....
