Feels Like HOME.

There is nothing better than snow days. I am not outdoorsy, but I even have to admit that this view out of my living room window is beautiful. Like many parts of the country, we got DUMPED on this week. We took advantage of the cancellation by doing NOTHING. I thought, wow, a whole day with Jeff AND Alli home to help with Mo - I will get SO much done. I talked to my BFF Jenn who had already scrubbed her kitchen floor (on hands and knees might I add) by the time I was even upright. Me, on the other hand, did nothing. In fact, I managed to START the washer, added detergent, go distracted and never put anything in it! It ran a WHOLE cycle! The past 2 days I have been playing catch up with the house.

I have talked a lot about our driveway... you can make the end of it out to the left side in the photo above - dangerous and in serios need of paving...
Our front "stoop"
If you can make out the START of a snowman... that happens at our house every year... I don't think that we have ever had a FULL snowman... we are such wimps!
The trees in front of our house
Alli's snow clothes "drying"... these are her old "mom spilled bleach on them" jeans.
The aftermath of playing in the snow... snow clothes stripped... toys everywhere.... Gilmore Girls on the tube... what better way to spend a snow day?
tuckered out....
slowly fading... (if you look at the photo of Alli at age 5 beside her on the end table... they grow up fast)
And she's OUT... look at those Brooke Sheilds eye brows

Here are some pics of the baby getting stage 3 foods for the first, and frankly last, time. He was NONE too pleased. Lasagna and meat sauce should NOT come in this form.

He finished about 4 bites and was over it.
We hope that life finds you a few unexpected days off with your family to create some memories. It is good to be HOME.

I, too, am sooooo NOT an outdoor person. When Norm and I first got together I lied and told him I LOVED to camp. Yeah. He's still not done letting me live that one down. I told him it worked, didn't it? LOL. Anyway, I LOVE snow!!!! And congrats on cleaning up on V-Day! Man, you got some great loot! Oh, and even better, congrats on GETTING OUT OF THE HOUSE!!!! We're working on week two here. This is soooooo not normal. I need to go to Target or somewhere!

I love snow days... as long as I don't have to drive :)

I also love food... so I would probably love the stage 3 baby food. On the other hand, maybe not.

Enjoy the snow. -Jenny

I LOVE snow days. We hardly ever get them here, though. Lots of snow and cold--no snow days. bummer
Andrew hates the lasagna too. He eats the sauce and then all the noodles come right back out. It's hysterical.

Mario is ADORABLE!!
