Somebody's Watching ...

I know, I know, it has been over a week... things have been nutso more than usual here... the grass is planted... thank goodness... the heat has started here which in western PA is NOT a dry heat... it makes your sweat sweat. I am just happy that Jeff's folks do not have to work out there in the heat. Now it is water, water and more watering! Everything looks good out there, and we are now just starting to think about the projects that we put off all year since we were too busy.

Jeff finished his first official year as a HS Principal. Graduation was Friday, so things were just busy there for that final week. He works all year, not just school year, but it certainly is much slower in the summer which he looks forward to ALL year! I look forward to it as well, although he is trying to learn to golf, which is taking a bit of time. He picked up clubs for the first time on Monday. He says he did horribly, but I think that he did better than he thought. He is ready for my dad to have surgery to have hip replacement next week and get him out on the course to give him some pointers!

Alli's 13th birthday party is tomorrow night. She invited lots of kids, so she should have fun. If only Mario would give us a good night's sleep for once in the past 3 weeks. He has been getting up every night around 2:30am... why? Why do kids do this????? I do not do well with no sleep, so I am in a coma most of the day. Thank goodness that kid is SO DARN CUTE... here is a small taste of the new thing that he does while you are in a room with the door closed... Jeff is in the powder room in this picture....
