Surgery/Doc Appts, etc

For the family and community friends who are reading this, my Dad did have his surgery this morning. He had a hip replacement. It went well, he is doing fine. Hopefully, he will be home Saturday with lots of recovery. I will keep you posted as the weekend rolls on.

Had the kids at their wellness appointments yesterday. Alli is great, no problems... she is 3/4 of and inch shy of 5 foot. She wants to grow so badly... I remember those days...they don't expect her to be much taller than 5'1. She is a petite thing!

Speaking of being petite: Mario is in the 10th percentile for weight tipping the scales at 20lbs 10 ozs. He is 15 months old. He is doing great as well.

Alli is with Jeff at their final regular season softball game tonight. I hope they win, but they are playing a very good team. They won their game last night, though! Playoffs are next week. I will be happy for a tiny break between softball and other activities. We all need it!
*****************************
I have so many pictures of Alli's party to post, but will just have to get to it later... life sure is taking over! :-)

Oh sports, UGH! Asa's summer soccer league starts soon and I'm both excited and dreading it. Here comes the busy summer again! Better than last summer though, don't you agree? I was crazy (literally) waiting for Valentina to come home. Ugh.

Jill-

Bryant was almost exactly the same size as Mario at that age. As a matter of fact, he was small enough I could still carry him in the infant carrier if I wanted! He was 10th percentile for EVER.

Then about 3 years old he had a huge growth spurt and was the 50th percentile for a while. Now he's actually tall for his age... if you can believe it! He's still slim though (thank goodness since he's got genetics going against him).
