Since there is still no camera available in the process of switching computers, I have no pictures! :-( I would like to get a new camera this week, but do not have a ton of $$$ to spend... any features that you personally cannot live without? I was using the basic Kodak Easy Share for several years. I like it, but it is pretty basic, not great clarity or zoom and the batteries die every 8 seconds... even the rechargables! ugh.
They have a new one out that is in my range... I do not know a ton about photography (ie aperture?, etc), so I would like more point and click... buuuut, I would like better zoom pictures and clearer...any suggestions from you all would be great!
Kiddo update: Alli is good...she certainly does not let any grass grow under her feet... Friday night movies, Saturday coaching cheer, Sunday Steeler party... on my agenda today... grocery store and ironing... oh, to be young and carefree again!
Mario is A-Ok... he is still a little maniac trying to climb everything, including us. He is often found throughout his weekend trying to grab our noses to make us say, "honk" and trying to sit on the dog... Murry, our shih tzu is SO not amused. We did make an 8pm run to Walmart last night to get safety related items such as door knob covers since the boy is trying to escape and get into everything! He does this all while looking back at us with a devilish grin!
I see on lots of people's blogs the discussion of politics... since my blog is drab in non-controversial (lol) filled with fluff about my kids, I thought that I would leave you with this link... no matter what your party, it is funny! Enjoy your week!

I have a Kodak easy share and its never given me any problems. My brother just bought a new one 8.5 megapixals (maybe? whatever the latest one out) and the shutter speed is faster, its a bigger view screen and takes crisper pics. Not bad for the $$.

Do you have a PC? Don't you have photo software already on there? What happens when you plug your camera into your computer? There should be some type of software already in there that installs the pictures for you.
I have a Kodak camera and I really like it. I do NOT like the Kodak software though. It messes with other things on my computer. I use iphoto but I have a mac. If you get another Kodak, get the loading dock. It automatically recharges the batteries everytime you put it on there to load pics into your camera. I've had really good luck with my battery. My mom has a Kodak and does not have the loading dock and her camera goes through a ton of batteries. I've had the same rechargeable lithium batter for three years.
I know there are way better cameras, but I don't want to carry a big camera around so this one is fine for now.
I like fluff about your kids. :)
I don't believe a negative thing you say about my baby boy Mo. He is perfect in every way, and he can "honk" my nose anytime;)
I'll take your post's anyway you do them.
Hugs to you!
I have a Kodak point and click Easy Share C-something. It rocks. I had another Easy Share that I hated but this one is good. Rechargeables last forever -but the disposable camera batteries don't.
I want to upgrade (when we sell the house) to a Cannon or Nikon fancy camera - but for now my Kodak is good. I will get it out of my car in the morning and I'll tell you the model number. xoxoxoxo
Jilly,
Tyler got the Nikon Cool Pix ($150ish) to go to Philmont. It took really nice pictures. I forget what the zoom is. Go to Best Buy, they were very helpful when we were trying to pick a camera for him.

I like my Canon EOS. It's so worth a little splurge! You can get fancy with it but I don't know how yet.
I love the fluff about your kids too! Cute video as well!
I'm a Canon girl here too. Worth all the money! Who needs Obama & McCain when you have kids??:)
Get a camera already Jillicious!! I'm needed some picture of the kiddos!!!
The song that came up on your blog is "the story" and I'm sobbing right now!!!! It was "our" song at the wedding....ahhhh
