and his nose is kinda runny,
and you think it's kinds funny,
but it's SNOT.
I remember this as a Valentine's Day greeting card when I was little and used to think that it was so funny. weird sense of humor, yes.
The snot runneth over for yet another day... It is Snotfest 2008 here at the Leskos and yet, you keep reading. Lord, I would so delete my blog from your favorites for this! :-)
Jeff and I took Mario and Alli to the peds yesterday. Alli was brave and got her hep A vaccine. That catches her up for like ever. Thank goodness, she hates the shots. She is FINALLY 5 feet tall!!!!!!!!! She is such a little peanut. The doctor is so hoping she will break 5ft ONE! I sure hope so. She is healthy and great, though! She was so happy about the height thing - you should have seen her face!
Mario had his wellness check up. He was determined to be "not well!" He has an ear infection. His first one ever. He is on an antibiotic, still has a runny nose and his gum is bleeding where his tooth has poked through. His ped also said that the other 3 molars are RIGHT THERE... lucky, lucky boy. Currently, he is on my lap, where he has been all day, just kind of hanging out. His face is covered in A and D ointment since his nose is so raw, has oragel on his gums and is generally (as my friend would say) honked off!
He is currently 22 lbs 10 oz. and grew a half inch (18 months)! Everything developmentally is fine - Thank God! As I said before, we chose to wait 2 weeks to get his vaccinations updated. He is our sicky baby boy, and I just want him to get better... NOW! I hate to see this little man sick!
Enjoy your day,

Your daughter and my bio daughter are both going to be doing the happy dance if they hit 5'1". Addy is supposed to only be 5' - which is so weird b/c I'm 5'6" and Joel is 6'. She's just a peanut.
I'm so sorry Mo baby is feeling poorly. :-( Give that lover baby some snuggles from his friends in Florida. xoxoxoxoxo
Sorry you're not feeling well. We've been dealing with that same nasty stuff here. Ugh.
Hope everyone is healthy soon!
Holy Crap I my hubby gave me that card and it still makes me laugh.
Keep doing the orajel and tell him to hang in there! Poor sweet boy!!! Ya know Sky had her first ear infection when she got her molars in...huh I wonder if there is something to that?
Poor little Mario:( Praying that his snot goes away and those teeth come in soon!!! Alli is turing into such a young lady! Sending you kleenex & hugs:)
I forgot...my camera is a Canon Rebel XSi. We just got it and I LOVE it. It is the first camera we splurged on and I wish we would have done it earlier!
AW. I hope your little guy feels better soon. I am cracking up about your entry to this post though! You are way too funny!!!
great news for Alli!
Poor you and poor Mo. I'm sorry:(
I'm a huge believer in Vick vapor rub, it makes our whole family feel better when we slather it on our chests or backs when we have the snot rot. It's my cure all:)
Love to you and your family Jilli!
I just laughed so loud at your Kermit green/snot reference song. Your blog has a soundtrack! Although I'm glad you took off the song that made me cry from the car commercial - seriously this post could have had my bawling too.
See? How could your blog be boring when you have funny little poems like that one??
Poor little guy. I hope he feels better soon. It stinks being sick.
Poor Mario! I hope he is feeling better! The teething could be affecting the snot outputting as well. John got runny noses when he was teething.
I hope he feels better soon! I have to say Kermit the frog in the background had me rolling. Love your blog. A very beautiful family. Get well little one!
hey you - missing you so much - are you OK???????????????????????
Where the heck have you been? Hope everything is ok! Miss your blogs!
Love, Rebecca (:
