Hey, chickas, hope your week is going well. We are STILL buried in SNOW with ANOTHER 2 hour delay. JuJu, Andrea, Lu - ya'll have any room for me? I am so ready to pack it up and move.... but the whole, Jeff's job is here and stuff... details details! lol!
Mario decided that he would be up at 3:30 am. Just up. Wanting to play. SO. NOT. FUN. I am a girl who needs the beauty rest, so I am an unhappy camper. It is 11:30, and STILL NO SLEEP!
Around 7am, when Jeff and Alli were getting ready to leave, I thought, put the exersaucer in my bedroom, turn on toons and sleep. Allison had other ideas as did Mario. He was screaming and squealing. Not crying, just annoying his mama. Allison busts in the room telling me her big toe is BLUE and can I look at it. Well, why not, I AM UP. I look at it, and sure enough, blue. Not "cut off the circulation blue"... more like, "color it with a magic marker" blue... knowing that she is going to be 13, I knew that the marker thing was out of the question, so I thought and thought... Oh, "You wore one BLUE sock and one gold sock to play in your volleyball game yesterday!" Sheesh. Kids!
A about a half hour later, I hear her in the kitchen....
"Maaaahhhhhmmmmm, what in the WORLD are your cooking KIDNEYS for??????"
Hmm, kidneys. OOOOOH, the kidney BEANS for chili.
"Well, mom, that is just GROSS."
No, Alli, they are NOT kidneys or related to kidneys, just BEANS.
"Either way, seriously gross."

Sofia is TEETHING and fighting a mini-version of the flu I've had and she is MISERABLE
She has decided that sleep is completely optional! No naps (AT ALL) for 3 days and up a few times a night......

I KNEW it! Valentina and Mario are secretly plotting and emailing each other on how to drive us crazy! Our kids are too damn smart.
I wish I lived closer. I would gladly come play with Mario while you took a nap. I need a baby "fix"...
PS: I also want to come to dinner. Chili is one of my favorites :)
Of COURSE I have room. It was 83 degrees here today with a nice gentle breeze ;) Sorry, I had to rub that in. K. has been making that sam squealing noise ALL the time now. It literally makes my eyes twitch. I love my child, but man alive can he drive me NUTS!

yummm beans! hope you are having a betta day! we got snow. I thought about you this morning (weird I know) but it was snowing and we were so excited. I know you guys are tired of it...but this was our first snow in a looooong time! R.
